Our work is led from our hearts, and shared and supported by the community that we, together, create. We write this to you from the place of passion that drives Miller Rothlein. Our conviction remains strong. To focus our resources where they really count and further what matters most to the company: making people’s lives better through learning, experiencing, and practicing art–in the many forms it may take.
We are going into our eighth rewarding year of working with grade school students at Girard College. This fuels us, as does our work with college age students regionally, nationally, and internationally. While we have doubled the amount of students we teach, we also have (exciting) plans in place to expand further into online technologies.
We continue to make new works, with an emphasis on sparking discussion and engaging audiences through the process. From Forbidden Creature‘s lively post show discussions on gender, to young students working alongside company members in the upcoming from the spot… we are excited to keep giving and sharing in meaningful ways.
Recent lectures, workshops, and performances have taken us to MICA, in Baltimore; to Kansas City, in the Midwest; and in our own region to Keystone College, West Chester University and other local schools. Our dedication remains the same, to inspire dance and visual arts students on how art and performance can enrich their lives and the lives of those around them.
We look forward to seeing you this coming year at The White Space at Crane Arts Old School, in our studio at Girard College, and at the William Way Center for Cinco De MIRO–our annual dance competition and party.
We love getting to know you better and our studio door is always open. Please know your support makes a difference.
